This lesson will discuss some tips that will set you up for success! Trauma is not something you just get over.
Because of the trauma brain, I learned that, it is wise to revisit the same topics over and over. Many of my clients don’t, or can’t, hear something until they have come out of their brain fog enough for it to register. I can’t tell you how many times they discover something “new” that was addressed in the material weeks or months earlier. It’s not your fault at all! It is because our brain’s number one job is to keep us safe. Some information just isn’t safe to hear right now. Later on, after some healing takes place, the brain feels safer to accept the information. Further, other information just goes right over the head and doesn’t stick because of brain fog. It’s just a smart strategy to come back later to see what you missed. Some of that is done for you because each Pathway will have some new things, but I also review lessons where we take a deeper dive into the material so that you can add on to the skills you have acquired.
In this introductory lesson you will learn some help tips to help you on your pathway to inner peace.
This is your first step:
Take a minute to schedule some time for yourself. Take a look at your calendar and find some time you can take for yourself everyday. You need at least an hour. If you don’t have an hour then it is important to make time. You matter and this is one way you can show yourself that you do matter. Carve out an hour for you…everyday!
If you don’t schedule it then it will be easy to skip or overlook it. If you think you don’t need to do this then it tells your subconscious mind that you are not a priority. Make an appointment with yourself to heal! You are worth it!
Later on, we will talk about how you can use your healing time wisely. In the meantime, spend this time doing things that bring you joy, peace or happiness.
